Finally a day off just to have fun and enjoy life! Myself and my housemate aka Miss Independent had such a lovely day today that i had to share with you guys. Did big things happened? Not really, but we had such a notable lunch today and i've also bought a few bits and bobs that i can't wait to show you. We spent the day in Central London where we went to "Mildreds" one of the restaurants that i previously blogged about (you can read here) in Lexington Street, which is an international-themed vegetarian and organic restaurant.

We have had some appetizers that the pictures did not came up good enough to post, but we had some Gyoza dumplings (soy dumplings with sweet chilli sauce). As per main course i had the vegan burger (cauliflower and chickpeas) of the day in a sour dough bun with relish, red onion, rocket and tomato accompanied with sweet potato fries and their amazing house sauce (basil mayo).

To drink i've had some water and a fresh organic juice with carrot, apple, beetroot and ginger. That was the first time i had a juice with beetroot in it but i must confess that the juice was really good and i'm not obsessed with it.

Can we just talk about this lovely desert for a minute? We actually shared this dessert as the burger was really big. We had a vegan and gluten free chocolate and peanut butter brownie with chocolate sauce and organic vanilla ice cream, that contrast of hot and cold was ever so yummy. You've got to try!!

Just to end this lovely meal we had to have an expresso that was also very good, it is really difficult to find a good expresso as we are used to very strong coffee. Although it was organic and i was expecting to be slightly weak but it wasn't, was very surprised!

Before i end the post i have to say that this blog post was not sponsored in any way, i just had a lovely day and thought i share it with you. Also, i've been to a few stores in Oxford Street today and bought so many homeware, clothing, accessories and beauty bits and bobs that i was thinking of making a haul either in a video or written post, is it something you that are interested in?Also you are still in time to choose which blog post you want for this Sunday!!
Love you, Cat
